STARTING RULES

  • Starting LP: 4000

  • Both players draw during their first Draw Phase

  • Match format: Best 2 out of 3 or Single Duel

 

DECK CONSTRUCTION

Normal Monsters may be ran at 3 of and any monsters that need multiples of others may be ran with exceptions.

  • Main Deck must contain exactly 40 to 60 cards

  • Extra Deck may contain up to 15 cards

  • Singleton format:

    • Only 1 copy of any card by name may be used

  • Side Deck (Optional)

    • Up to 10 cards

    • Singleton rules applies unless covered by an exception above

EXCEPTIONS TO SINGLETON

  • Normal Monsters

  • Any card, monster or archetype-required card that must be played at multiple copies for a deck to function efficiently or as intended

SUMMONING RULES

  • All summoning mechanics are legal:

    • Ritual

    • Fusion

    • Synchro

    • Xyz

    • Pendulum

    • Link

 

MASTER RULE SYSTEM

  • Master Rule 3 Pendulum Zones are active

  • Pendulum Zones are separate from Spell/Trap Zones

  • Extra Monster Zones exist

  • Link arrows function normally

 

PENDULUM SUMMON RULE

  • Face-up Pendulum Monsters in the Extra Deck may be Pendulum Summoned to:

    • Any available Main Monster Zone

    • Any zone a Link Monster points to

 

FACE-UP DEFENSE RULE

  • Monsters may be Normal Summoned or Tribute Summoned in face-up Defense Position

  • Defense Position monsters cannot attack unless a card effect allows it

 

EFFECTIVE ATK RULE

  • Apply all effect modifiers first

  • Halve the final damage value

  • Round Fractions down

Examples:

  • 2000 effect damage -> 1000 damage

  • 1500 effect damage -> 750 damage

This affects:

  • Monster effects

  • Spell effects

  • Trap effects

  • Burn damage of any kind

 

DEF RULE

  • DEF values are unchanged

 

BATTLE PHASE

  • No direct attacks

  • After 2 turns a player doesn't summon a monster directly is allowed

 

ACTION CARD RULE

  • Each player may use 2 Action Cards per Duel

  • Action Cards exist outside the Main Deck

  • Players choose Action Cards before the Duel begins

  • Only 1 Action Card may be activated per chain
